Default Engine dies when you turn on the blinker

Hi, everyone
new to the forum and need some technical help. My 04 Regal dies as soon as you turn on the blinker. It starts right up afterwards. any thoughts on what to check first?
Thanks in advance.

ok I have been working on the car all day. This is what is happening. When you turn the key to position #2 all of the dash lights start flashing and there are some buzzers going off. If I try to start the car it runs really rough and pretty much dies. If I turn on the blinker when all the dash lights are flashing they stop flashing and it starts normally and runs great. What could cause all the dash lights to flash on and off? Also when the car is running poorly after starting it with the lights flashing and I turn on the blinkers it dies right away. Could this be something with an alarm?
TIA
Steve

It's been a while , , , did you find the problem ??

Do you have an aftermarket alarm that flashes the parking lights when armed ??

Smile mine died too

hi. Have you considered the ignition switch?
i own a 2000 Buick Regal and had the exact same problem. after driving for awhile if i clicked on the left blinker the engine immediately stalled. All the dash lights would light up and the power steering would fail right beforehand. The car also wouldn't start at all several times; the relay fuse under the hood had to be removed and replaced to "jump" the car.

I did a bunch of reading and research about this problem and it seemed to me that my Regal may need a new Ignition Switch or Multifunction Switch, (lever w/LF blinker, Cruise Control, Wipers,).

Well it was the ignition switch. I took my car to AAMCO and got it back the same day. It is the best car I have ever driven. No leaks, no peeps, no hissing, or whining and no more Check Engline light.
