When you say they make contact with calipers, is this the face of the wheel that bolts up or the barrel of the wheel that the tire surrounds? Face you can use spacers if it isn't going to rub the fender, barrel you need larger wheels.

hey merc6 im a new member to the site and based on the amount of posts you have I assume you are the very knowledgeable and active member here....that being said I have a 2001 buick lesabre, I recently took my old 22inch rims off of it and was trying to replace them with original factory buick rims. I bought some 15inch oem regal rims under the assumption that buick sedan rims were universal, bad idea. Well suffice to say they didn't fit ( they were making contact with the front brake caliper but the back rims went straight on)and by this time I had already bought brand new tires to go with the rims. Not wanting to lose the tires I saw where there were 5 inch buick lasabre rims that should've fit my 2001 lesabre but it seems that im runnin into the same problem again. Mind you the more recent rims seem as though as they want to fit apart from the slight contact with the brak caliper. Any suggestions besides buying whole new rims and tires?
