What does your local dealer charge forBuick keyless entry remotes?

MyBuick dealer wants $119 a piece plus $35 for programming for each of my cars (97 Lesabre, 95 Park Avenue).
I'm curious to see what other dealerships are charging for new remotes and programming.

I'm done with ebay because the listings show new remotes, and 3 out of 3 times I've won - I end up with junk that doesn't work and won't program. First one was superglued together and cracked. Can't check the battery if you can't even open it. Second one was completely corroded inside from water and didn't work. The 3rd one only 1 button worked and it looked like someone tried to superglue the circuit board pieces back together. Each one was advertised as new, or like new and they obviously weren't anywhere close to that. The Keyles Ride site is run by one of those same lying ebay sellers, so thats off the list too.

What does your local dealership charge? I bet there's some that want even more than what mine is charging.

I'm not sure if this site will help you but I was able to find a new one for mine *have not purchased it yet*.

Buying a transmitter on Ebay doesn't sound like a good idea. The ones I looked at seemed like they had literally been "put" back together. Good Luck!

You just have to jump the diagnostic connector under the dash on your 97 Lesabre terminal 4 to 8 with the key on. After you jump them the locks will cycle once and then you have to hold the lock and unlock buttons down at the same time for about 15 seconds till the locks cycle again.

Hi

Most remotes can be programmed manually; however some must be programmed by a dealer or automotive locksmith in your area.
Please email us with your VIN# and also just in case the year, make and model of your vehicle (it is easy to make a mistake in the VIN #)
Base on this information we will determine for you if you can program the remote yourself.

We offer a wide selection of original manufacturer keyless entry remotes (RKE, fobs) at discount prices. In most cases you can also program the remote yourself with our easy to follow programming instructions. Please visit our website at

If you have any questions or have any specific inquiries about your remote system please contact us at customercare@carandtruckremotes.com including year, make and model of your vehicle.
