Hi all!

I live in Australia and my car has a Buick 3.8L which I believe to be the LN3.

I am interested in finding out, if in the United States the LN3 came out with a turbo or supercharger, and how much it would cost to purchase directly from the States as its far too expensive to buy anything here in Australia that is labelled "performance"

Thanking you!

I may be able to look it up, but I do not recognize "LN3" off the top of my head. I can tell you that many Buick 3.8's are either turbo charged or supercharged. Generally, the supercharged versions are front wheel drive (like my '97 Park Avenue Ultra), while the turbo versions were RWD. The supercharged engines were made through 2005, whileI think the turbo's were discontinued probably ~15 years ago.

I would suggest you check e-Bay. I have recently noticed complete supercharged engines there. Be sure to get the engine management computer to go with it. If you are looking to add a supercharger or turbo charger to an existing engine, frankly, it would be difficult to do here (Chicago); probably impossible there.

PS: My engine code is "L67"; similar car without supercharger was "L36".
