Default problems w/ electrical

HELP !!!

I have a 97 park ave. ultra sometimes the headlights work along w/ dash lights. This is when it is dark. BUT, when driving down the road usually the first streetlight overlooks the car I hear a "bink" and then no dash lights but, have the usual driving lights. Is there a sensor that controls this and if so what is it and where is it located???

Thanks

Mike

It sounds like you have a problem with your Twilight Sentinel (auto light control sensor). There should be a sensor or two in the top of your dash, near the windshield. You might have a loose connection, or a failing sensor.
