Impala intake should fit and they give the option to buy your style (MY99 and up) overflow tank as well. So far the bottle is cheaper than I found it seperate online

Gonna save up for it. Will send them a message abut the ECU. The other intake had a tray for it but I didn't like the way It looked.

OK not going to do the CAI just yet. Got most the things I need for 2000 and up upgrade. I have to get better pics of the box in pieces and show my new coolant bottle location issue. Gonna post 2 pics for the coolant overflow. Reserching the 3400 upper and lower cause it's easier to get to in the impala than it is in this front end damaged century.

I was reading the other day that doing a 3400 top swap on a 3100 (1998 Grand AM) really makes a difference. I'm not sure if thats the same 3100 that you have or not.

Good ole LA1 in the impala is supposedly rated 180 hp 205 tq. The best part is seeing 3400 in the engine bay when I check the oil. My issues is the coolant tank has nothing to hang from. Gonna drill and use nuts and bolts. Airbox was mangled between the cars so I pieced together one between a 2000 and a 2001 century and zip tube. If all goes well and I get more hours @ work I might just grab an engine and stand to start a build. As for now my focus is UIM and LIM since that's the justifiable part(s). I posted the pics in the other thread to show you cant UIM swap between the L82 and LG8 nor L82 and LA1

Might as well update this since I'm here. Have all the parts to convert to the LG8 intake system I just need to drill for the overflow. Going to do this swap just before or after the LIM gasket "Upgrade".
