Buick Regal GS gets the green light

GM unveiled a concept version of the Regal GS at the Detroit Auto Show in January, but at the time GM would not say if it was going to actually be produced. Tom Stephens, GM's vice chairman of global product operations, has now confirmed that the company will build the Buick Regal GS, but did not offer additional details about timing or volume. lots of pics here

Compared to the old Regal? The one they discontinued, is it a similar design or simply a "new" model with a rebadged name?
